LAS VEGAS – The Commercial Alliance Las Vegas (CALV) has extended the deadline for real estate professionals to register for its July 31 Commercial Education Day, offering online commercial real estate classes for those in or considering a career in the industry.
Participants can now register by July 29 for classes that will be held on July 31 at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. via Zoom. The cost is $10 per class for CALV members, or $15 per class for non-members.
CALV President Robin Civish, whose professional affiliations and designations include being a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), said dozens of local real estate professionals have already registered for the online event.
“Even during this pandemic, CALV is committed to presenting fully accredited continuing education classes with an emphasis on commercial real estate taught by experienced instructors,” Civish said. “We want to remind people that they still have time to take advantage of this great educational opportunity, especially if they need continuing education credits to maintain their Nevada real estate license.”
The 9 a.m. class on July 31 is on “Commercial Contracts & 1031 Exchange Issues,” taught by Kandas Myer, Certified Exchange Specialist (CES®), Nevada vice president of Investment Property Exchange Services, Inc.
The 1 p.m. class is “Small Business Administration 7A and 504 Loan Programs – How They Can Help Your Clients.” Instructors are Megan Comfort, senior vice president and SBA and small business manager at Nevada State Bank, and Jeremy Trosper, vice president, SBA team lead and portfolio risk manager at Nevada State Bank.
