unnamedCushman & Wakefield Commerce today announced that Jennifer Levine, director of industrial real estate with Cushman & Wakefield Commerce in Las Vegas was named the 2017 NAIOP National Volunteer of the Year.

“NAIOP has 18,500 members in 51 chapters nationwide. Jen is the only person this year to have received this coveted recognition—and it is incredibly well-deserved,” said Michael Dunn, market leader for the Las Vegas office of Cushman & Wakefield Commerce. “We are all very proud of Jen for this tremendous national recognition.”

This national honor was bestowed upon Levine due to her tireless volunteer efforts with NAIOP Southern Nevada to support commercial real estate development. Her activities include serving on the Board of Directors as Treasurer, the Executive Committee, and the Developing Leaders Institute Committee. Levine graduated from the inaugural class of the Developing Leaders Institute in 2008 and, as intended by the program, she has risen to the highest levels of NAIOP Southern Nevada leadership. She was previously rewarded locally for her volunteer efforts as Associate Member of the Year in 2015.

Levine also serves as the Board Liaison to the Bus Tour Committee, which is responsible each fall for NAIOP Southern Nevada’s tour of the new and under-construction commercial real estate buildings. She and the others on the committee host around 300 attendees from NAIOP and the national business community including building owners, investors, brokers, and service providers. Levine is an ongoing tour guide for the Industrial segment and provides market knowledge on recent deals and historical trends.
