The lack of affordable housing is a growing concern for cities across the country, particularly in southern Nevada. However 783 people, including Shelly and her family, from working families are now sleeping easier in their new affordable, quality homes with supportive services – public benefits, food commodity programs and other financial resources – at the Cordero Pines Family Apartments in northeast Las Vegas.

To celebrate, developers, partners and supporters who made the $42 million affordable apartments a reality are joining for a ceremonial ribbon-cutting, remarks and refreshments.

Wednesday, Feb. 28 from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm
