Southern Nevada has $3.4 billion in hospitality projects scheduled through 2016, reports the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority. The construction projects will add 3,821 guest rooms and 500,000 square feet to the city’s existing inventory. Las Vegas, as a result, will boast 156,369 guest rooms by the end of 2016.
