Nevada REALTORS® President Keith Lynam speaks to international real estate group on Presidents’ Day

LAS VEGAS – Nevada REALTORS® President Keith Lynam is scheduled to speak about the local housing market and related issues as part of an expert panel discussion for international real estate professionals being held at the Las Vegas Convention Center on Monday, Presidents’ Day.

 

The panel discussion begins at 2 p.m. on Feb. 18 at the International Central area of the North Hall inside the Las Vegas Convention Center, as part of the International Builders Show (IBS 2019). The trade show itself is being held from Feb. 19-21 in Las Vegas. It is expected to attract more than 80,000 building industry professionals from around the world.

 

In addition to serving as the 2019 president of the statewide Nevada REALTORS®, Lynam has served in numerous leadership roles with local, state and national associations, including serving as president of the Greater Las Vegas Association of REALTORS® (GLVAR).

 

Lynam, a longtime Las Vegas REALTOR®, was invited to participate in the panel by Patrick Levy, a commercial specialist with the U.S. Consulate General, U.S. Department of Commerce – International Trade Administration. Levy is based in in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, which is sending a delegation of about 30 members to the IBS 2019 convention, including leading representatives from the country’s real estate, engineering and construction industries. The Brazil-based group focuses on housing – both affordable and high-end housing.

 

Lynam expects to address a range of topics, from buying and selling real estate in Nevada to local regulations and business opportunities.

 

He also plans to join the group from Brazil on the afternoon of Feb. 21 in touring several Las Vegas locations, from major developments on and around the Las Vegas Strip to local housing developments and neighborhoods offering more affordable housing.
