Nevada REALTORS® selected for leadership roles on NAR committees

Three Nevada REALTORS®have been selected to represent their peers nationwide by serving in leadership roles onNational Association of REALTORS® (NAR) committees.

NAR recently announced its national committee chair and vice-chair appointments for 2019. Las Vegas-based members Scott Beaudry, Bobbi Miracle and Soozi Jones Walker were among those appointed.

Beaudry will chair NAR’s Data Strategies Committee in 2019. He is a past president of the Greater Las Vegas Association of REALTORS® (GLVAR).

Miracle,a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and member of the Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS®(SIOR), was selected to chair NAR’s Federal Technology Policy Committee in 2019. The longtime local commercial real estate broker is a past president of the Commercial Alliance Las Vegas (CALV). 

Walker, CCIM and SIOR, will serve as vice-chair for NAR’s Commercial Real Estate Research Advisory Board.Like Miracle, her daughter and business partner, she is also a past president of the CALV and a longtime local commercial real estate broker.

“Our association is very proud of this news,” Nevada REALTORS®CEO Teresa McKee said. “To see Nevada honored with this representation means our great state has hard-working, knowledgeable people invested in the business of promoting the REALTOR®cause, and that is being recognized at the national level.”

NAR only announced its committee chair and vice-chairs for 2019. Committee member announcements will be made in October. Nevada and Colorado were the only states from Region XI in the West to have two members chairing national committees, McKee added.
