Remington Nevada announces The Boulevard Plaza, a new retail addition coming soon to The Boulevard Mall
LAS VEGAS, NV (July 10, 2019) – Remington Nevada, a premier commercial land development company with properties in Nevada and Arizona, is redeveloping approximately 17-acres of land on the southeast corner of Maryland Parkway and Desert Inn Road adjacent to The Boulevard Mall. The new retail project will be appropriately named, The Boulevard Plaza and will involve a total transformation of the 190,000+ square foot former Sears location along with the redevelopment of nearby vacant land to feature 4 new retail pads and adjacent in-line shops.
The Boulevard Plaza will be nestled less than two miles from the Las Vegas Strip, Las Vegas Convention Center, and the University of Las Vegas, Nevada, making it a prime location for business owners and shoppers alike. Remington Nevada realizes the great potential in the area and believes in the positive impact that The Boulevard Plaza will have on the local economy and surrounding community.
“There has not been any ground-up retail development in this area for quite some time. We know that this location holds a lot of potential with recent statistics revealing that it sees about 90,000 vehicles per day. Given our strategic proximity to the strip, UNLV, and Las Vegas Convention Center, we are hopeful that this redevelopment will serve as an economic catalyst for the Central Las Vegas community,” said David DelZotto, Remington Nevada Founder and Chief Executive Officer.
Remington Nevada will build several stores from the ground up which will give future tenants the opportunity to occupy in-line retail pads, or pads that are strategically situated along Maryland Parkway. The four pads along Maryland Parkway will range in square footage from 3,000 to about 6,000, while the in-line shops that are adjacent to the former Sears building will range from approximately 1,500 square feet to about 12,000 square feet and will be anchored by a 40,000 – 50,000 square foot building. As an added security measure for incoming tenants, The Boulevard Plaza will have roving security to actively monitor the property and surrounding area.
Remington Nevada has not yet disclosed its intended use for the former 190,000+ square foot Sears building, but hints that its new purpose will fill a unique need for the surrounding community members.
The Boulevard Plaza joins an already established complex of family-oriented attractions and shops including Galaxy Theatre, SeaQuest Interactive Aquarium, John’s Incredible Pizza Co. and much more.
Stan Wasserkrug of Remington Nevada is handling the leasing and development of The Boulevard Plaza and tenant availability remains open. Construction for The Boulevard Plaza will commence in summer 2020, with anticipated completion set for summer 2021. The property is located at 3528 South Maryland Parkway.

About Remington Nevada
Remington Nevada was founded in 2012 by David J. DelZotto, an entrepreneur who has been in the real estate and land development industries for over 30 years, both in Canada and the United States. In 1992, DelZotto started Remington Homes, and for 12 years, focused on the development and construction of single-family and custom luxury homes in Southern Nevada. From 2003-2008, Remington Homes branched into the land development business and acquired raw land in Nevada, Arizona and California for the purpose of entitling the property for future development. During this time, Remington Homes rezoned, engineered, and mapped more than 500 single-family lots, which were then sold to homebuilders such as Centex, Pulte and DR Horton. In 2012, Remington Nevada was created, once again expanding the company into the commercial land development marketplace with projects in Southern Nevada and Phoenix metropolitan areas.
