NAIOP Southern Nevada presents “Affordable Housing | Single-Family Residential | Multifamily | Eviction Moratorium Expiring….What’s Next?” at its monthly breakfast meeting. The program will be moderated by Mike Shohet, Compass Development president. Speakers include Alison Burk, vice president of development in Las Vegas for Fore Property Company; Audra Hamernik, president and CEO for Nevada Hand; and Molly Hamrick, principal for Coldwell Banker Commercial Premier. The meeting is sponsored by Carpenter Sellers Del Gatto Architects.
The panel of housing experts will discuss housing affordability, both from a local and national perspective, and how the market satisfies Southern Nevada’s housing demand. Additionally, what does multifamily look like with the demographic changes of apartment dwellers, including the impact of aging baby boomers and millennials with growing families. Looking into the future, panelists will discuss what happens when the eviction moratorium ends, and what Southern Nevada’s housing market will look like.
This month’s breakfast will be a hybrid presentation where attendees can choose to attend in person at the Orleans Hotel & Casino, or virtually, through Zoom. The presentation will be live.
