BOMA Names 2014 TOBY Award Winners

BOMAThe Building Owners Managers Association (BOMA) of Nevada held its annual TOBY awards on Saturday, November 8, inside the M Resort in Henderson. The Smith Center for The Performing Arts received the Pioneer Award; the Earth Award went to the Springs Preserve Origen Museum and Desert Living Center; and the Carson Building received the Historical Building Award. Other honorees include: Marriott’s Grand Chateau (Hospitality Award); Harsch Paradise Airport Center Phase II (Industrial Office Park Award); Hughes Corporate Center (Office Building Under 100,000 sq. ft. Award); Rainbow Sunset Pavilion Building A (Office Building 100,000-249,999 sq. ft. Award); Zappos.com Headquarters (Office Building 250,000-499,999 sq. ft. Award); The Plazas (Suburban Office Park Low-Rise Award); Henderson City Hall (Government Building Award); Cox (Corporate Facility Award); and, North Mesa Plaza II (Retail Award). The TOBY awards are the most prestigious honor in the commercial real estate industry, recognizing quality in buildings and rewarding excellence in building management.
