Who: Members of the Greater Las Vegas Association of REALTORS®(GLVAR) and local veterans, including members of the Veterans Association of Real Estate Professionals (VAREP). GLVAR President Chris Bishop and VAREP President Ernie Gonzales will be among those attending this event.
What: GLVAR and VAREP leaders will raise the United States and Nevada flags for the first time on GLVAR’s new flagpole, presenting and installing a plaque dedicated to U.S. veterans. As the inscription on the plaque says, “The Veterans Association of Real Estate Professionals, along with its many supporters, proudly dedicates this flag to the Greater Las Vegas Association ofREALTORS®and all they do to support local Nevada veterans.”
When: The flag-raising event begins at 8:15 a.m. on Thursday, June 28.
Where: In front of GLVAR’s new headquarters building at 6360 S. Rainbow Blvd., near the 215 Beltway and Sunset Road.
