Industrial Market Gains Momentum in Third Quarter

DiabloIndustrialCenter_NewSouthern Nevada’s industrial market had a 9.2% vacancy in the third quarter, down from 11.6% a year ago, reports Colliers International Las Vegas. Average asking rents were 55 cents per square foot or 4 cents higher than in 2013. There was 635,870 square feet of industrial net absorption in the third quarter, with 14,248 square feet of new completions. “The drop in sales volume and rise in sales prices might indicate that 2013 was the end of the fire sale period in Southern Nevada’s industrial recovery,” said Colliers research manager John Stater.
