MACNAK/Korte Group LLC is designing and building a $30 million dormitory at Nellis Air Force Base. The 3-story, 85,250-square-foot H-shaped building will house 240 people. Plans call for 60 4-bedroom units, each with their own kitchen, laundry and living room space. The project includes recreational grounds, landscaping, parking and utilities. The dormitory is seeking LEED Silver certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. Construction calls demolishing two aging existing dormitories once the new facility finishes in the fall of 2016.
