McCarthy Building Cos. recently completed the 78,000-square-foot Brooklyn Bowl inside Linq at 3545 Las Vegas Boulevard, South, Suite 22, in Las Vegas. It’s the third Brooklyn Bowl, outside of London and New York City. The bar and 32-lane bowling alley features a Bromberg Brothers’ Blue Ribbon Restaurant, famous for fried chicken. There is also a 2,000-person capacity live-music venue, with acts visible from the bowling lanes. The dual-level Brooklyn Bowl is located at Linq’s halfway point, in the Central Plaza. The steel-framed venue has a warm rustic appearance with exposed ductwork, distressed brick and weathered wood recovered from a 100-year-old Ohio barn. Designed by Klai Juba Wald Architects, the converted warehouse style echoes the original Brooklyn Bowl, which opened inside a 130-year-old ironworks foundry in the Williamsburg district in 2009.
