Matter Real Estate Group, a community-minded development firm, has announced that Matter Park @ West Henderson is now 98% leased with the addition of two new tenants: Safe Life Defense and Carmine’s Pizza Kitchen.
The majority of leases have been signed during the last six months, demonstrating that the modern, high-image office and warehouse business complex remains in high demand even during the pandemic.
Safe Life Defense will lease the entirety of Building 3 at Matter Park @ West Henderson. With a total of 137,000-square-feet, the space will be built with the custom elements necessary for the Body Armor manufacturing company to continue its growth. Specializing in gear for first responders, security, police and responsible civilians, Safe Life Defense was born and raised in Las Vegas and has no intentions of leaving. “Because of our exponential growth, the only option in the valley was a totally custom build,” said Nick Groat, CEO of Safe Life Defense. “Matter provided us with a space large enough for us to continue growing and is making the build an easy process. We didn’t ask for pizza close by but we are thrilled to have Carmine’s as a neighbor.”
Beginning summer of 2021, Carmine’s Pizza Kitchen will bring its authentic New York-style pizza to the tenants and neighbors of Matter Park @ West Henderson in a 3,266-square-foot space. In addition to pizza, the restaurant will serve sandwiches, salads, pasta and desserts along with beer and wine, subject to liquor license approval, in an indoor dining room and patio connected by a roll up garage door. A favorite of the Las Vegas community, Carmine’s has followed family recipes handed down for generations in their valley restaurants since 1976.

Safe Life Defense is a local, fast-growing company that exemplifies the entrepreneurial spirit. Previously announced the Las Vegas Raiderettes’ 20,000-square-foot headquarters is in the 300,000-square-foot first phase of Matter Park @ West Henderson, which will be joined by an additional 200,000-square-feet in phase two, set to open summer 2022. When completed, the $90 million development will span 37 acres with seven buildings offering office, flex and showroom space, in addition to warehouse and distribution space.
