Applied Analysis, a Las Vegas-based economic analysis firm, has partnered with 25-year-old, Salt Lake City-based Discovery Research Group to form Discovery Nevada, which will provide market research, including surveys, web panel analyses, and social media analytics, among other things. The two groups have previously collaborated on dozens of projects over the past five years. Applied Analysis will provide day-to-day operational management for Discovery Nevada; former Applied Analysis senior manager Jake Joyce will head-up the new group.
