Khem Babbar today opened a 3-story, 115-room Best Western Plus, on 2.27 acres, at 1553 N. Boulder Highway in Henderson. The hotel employs 20 people. In April, Babbar bought the 3-year-old former Holiday Inn for $5.1 million or $44,348 per unit. Colliers International’s Mike Mixer and Dharmesh Patel represented both the buyer and seller in the transaction. The 67,000-square-foot hotel underwent $150,000 in remodeling and rebranding. Plans call for another $135,000 in lobby and bar upgrades early next year.
