City Transfers Land Parcel to Smith CenterThe City of Las Vegas approved the ownership transfer of 1.7 acres to The Smith Center for the Performing Arts. The space, which is being turned into a park, will be located on the east side of Symphony Park Avenue, between Promenade Place and City Parkway. The $10 million Donald W. Reynolds Symphony Park will be a multi-functional gathering place for concerts, festivals, community and private events. Lifescapes International is the landscape architect, with Tate Snyder Kimsey as architects for the bandshell, which features a custom art piece by Tim Bavington.
