Colliers employees presented the school supplies to Tanaka Elementary school teacher, Shane Goffstein, principal, Tony Davis, school counselor, Jessica Kirsch and former administrator for Clark County School District, Wayne Tanaka on August 26.

Tanaka Elementary is a Title I school in the southwest part of the Valley with more than 50% of their students on free or reduced lunch programs. Colliers understands the needs of local families and wanted to assist a school which had not received benefits for the current school year. More than forty fully packed backpacks and boxes of school supplies will help Tanaka students kick off the school year with the necessary tools they need to succeed.

“Colliers strongly believes in giving back to the community that has afforded us many wonderful opportunities and benefits. Tanaka Elementary students deserve a shot at a successful education and now they will have everything they need to jump start this school year,” said Courtney Goffstein, Colliers marketing project manager.

Colliers brokers and employees gathered supplies and donated funds for Tanaka Elementary. The Links for Life Foundation then matched the donations received from the Colliers team to make sure as many students were assisted as possible. Colliers is proud to be a company committed to the Las Vegas community.
