The Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors (GLVAR) named Urban Nest Realty’s David Tina as 2013 president, and Prudential Americana Group’s Heidi Kasama as president-elect. Platinum R.E. Professionals’ Noah Herrera is vice president, and Windermere Prestige Properties’ Robyn Yates is treasurer. All will take office on Jan. 1, 2013. Local realtors elected to serve as directors starting in 2013 include: Christopher Bishop, of Keller Williams Realty Las Vegas; Janet Carpenter, of Realty ONE Group,Inc; Vandana Chima, of Exit Realty Platinum Group; and Krystal Sherry, of Hudson Real Estate. Other realtors not up for re-election who will continue serving their two-year terms as directors in 2013 include: Tina Africk, of iProperties International; Keith Lynam, of Windermere Prestige Properties; Jaime Velez, of Keller Williams Southern Nevada; Neil Schwartz, of Coldwell Banker Premiere; and Cheryl Smith, of United Realty. Meanwhile, Leroy “Buck” Schaeffel, of Bowler Realty, will continue serving as GLVAR’s director for Mesquite and other outlying areas of Clark County.
