Members of the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors (GLVAR) donated nearly $30,000 last week to 13 local charities as part of their ongoing contributions to the community, including nearly $10,000 to St. Jude’s Ranch for Children. Other contributions went to: Big Brothers, Big Sisters ($1,500); Catholic Charities ($1,500); Family & Child Treatment ($1,000); Foreclosed Upon Pets ($1,000); Nevada Homeless Alliance ($3,000); Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth ($3,000); Pet Awareness & Welfare Services ($1,000); Project 150 ($2,000); The Shade Tree ($1,000); Street Teens ($3,000); Walter Hoving Home ($1,000); and, Safe Nest ($1,000).
