Southern Nevada home prices picked up in 2014 where they left off in 2013, reports the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors (GLVAR). The median price of existing single-family homes sold in Southern Nevada during January was $185,000, unchanged from December and up 23.3% from a year prior. The median price of existing condominiums and townhomes sold in January was $92,500, down 3.6% from $96,000 in December, but up 23.3% from $75,000 one year ago.
