There were 3,591 local homes, condos and townhomes sold in January, which is 377 more than last year, reports the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors (GLVAR). Single-family home sales increased by 16.8% last month, with median prices of $118,000 or 5.6% less than one year ago. “We continue to sell existing homes at a record pace and at bargain prices,” said GLVAR President Kolleen Kelley. “Our statistics for January also showed that fewer homes were available for sale, especially bank-owned homes.”GLVAR: Home Sales Up in January
