Valley home sales increased 13.8% in November, while condo and townhomes sales decreased by 1.2%, reports the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors (GLVAR). Meanwhile, median valley home prices were $125,000 in November, up 3.3% from the prior month but still 7.3% less than a year ago. “I think there’s just less inventory, especially in areas where homes are really selling,” GLVAR President Paul Bell said. “It’s much lower today than say four years ago, when we had almost 25,000 homes on the market.”
