WHY: Building on the success of the current location, Desert Gymcats will commemorate the construction of their brand new, state of the art gymnastics and official power tumbling-trampoline facility, and competitive cheerleading gym.
WHAT: Desert Gymcats’ new gymnasium and trampoline facility construction commencement will be commemorated with an official Ground Breaking Ceremony and Celebration. Construction of this 18,100 square foot gymnasium on 1.79 acres exemplifies the continued success of this women-owned business and marks the first competitive USAG- TNT (Trampoline, Power Tumbling and Double Mini Tramp) facility in the State of Nevada.
Desert Gymcats’ current facility, still in operation at 950 South Cimarron Rd, just one mile from the new site, will continue as a gymnastics school, featuring our successful preschool program, boys’ gymnastics, and Ninja Zone/Parkour. We will better serve boys and girls of all ages with the variety of programs offered at both facilities.
The new building is unique because it will feature the only standard power tumbling strip, which is over 120 feet long, 2 competitive double mini-trampolines, 4 competitive trampolines and all the women’s gymnastics events, in a facility designed for all levels of competitive gymnastics and trampoline.
Plus, Desert Cheer Extreme will be returning after a five year absence to a full size competitive cheer-spring floor .
