Nevada consumers are projected to spend $290 million during Easter, up 11% from last year, reports the Retail Association of Nevada (RAN). Consumers are expected to spend $145.28 per person on holiday meals, gifts, candy, decorations, flowers and greeting cards. Easter falls more than two weeks earlier than it did last year. “Easter falls on vastly different calendar dates every year,” said RAN President Mary Lau. “As a result, Easter store displays are a good reminder to consumers that the holiday is approaching and it’s a good time to start preparing to celebrate.” For the full report, CLICK HERE.
