Report Office Activity to Remain Steady in 2012Office leasing activity is likely to remain steady in 2012, as election year uncertainty year has tenants renewing and expanding in order to maintain their currently low rates, says Grubb & Ellis research manager Dave Dworkin. Tenants have an abundant amount of opportunity to relocate to a more favorable submarket at historically low rental rates, as landlords continue to offer free rent to avoid lowering asking rates.
