After reaching an all-time high in 2015, the industry Optimism Quotient this year remains very positive at 108, though lower than last year’s record result. Any result in excess of 100 is considered highly positive. When comparing to the 20-year horizon, 2016 could shape up to be a very strong year for the construction industry. Contractors and equipment distributors reported that they expect consistent construction activity in 2016 compared to 2015.
