Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) is a recognized expert in the disciplines of commercial and investment real estate. The designation is awarded by the CCIM Institute, after a candidate is required to complete an education component (comprised of a four-course curriculum, an online ethics course, negotiation training, and elective courses from the Ward Center for Real Estate Studies). Then the candidate must compile a portfolio of qualifying experience, and pass the Comprehensive Exam testing mastery of the concepts introduced in the core CCIM courses.
