Architecture Billings Up in OctoberArchitecture billings climbed nearly three points in October, reports the American Institute of Architects (AIA). Architecture billings are a leading economic indicator of construction activity, with approximate nine to 12-month lag time between architecture billings and construction spending.  Architecture billings scored 49.4 in October, up 2.5 points from September.  (Any score above 50 indicates an increase in billings).  New projects inquiries were 57.3, up from 54.3 the previous month.
