The Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors (GLVAR) has named Keith Lynam of Windermere Prestige Properties as 2015 president. Other board officers include President-elect Scott Beaudry, of Universal Realty Inc.; Vice President Kathryn Bovard, of Realty One Group; and Treasurer Janet Carpenter, of Signature Real Estate Group. All will take office on Jan. 1, 2015.
Heidi Kasama, branch manager of the Summerlin office for Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Nevada Properties, will serve as GLVAR’s immediate past president during 2015. Additional 2014 directors include: Vandana Chima-Bhalla, Signature Real Estate Group; Omar Lopez, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Nevada Properties; Brandon Roberts, of Signature Real Estate Group; Krystal Sherry, oHudson Real Estate; and Mark Sivek, Realty One Group. Local realtors not up for re-election who will continue serving as directors in 2015 are: Tina Africk, iProperties International; Thomas Blanchard, 1st Realty Group; David J. Tina, Urban Nest Realty; and Julie Youngblood, Keller Williams Realty Southwest.
Bobbi Miracle of Commercial Executives Real Estate Services will serve as 2015 president of GLVAR’s Commercial Alliance Las Vegas and will represent commercial real estate interests on the board. Ronnie Schwartz, of Coldwell Banker Premier, will chair GLVAR’s 2015 MLS Committee and also serve on the GLVAR board.
