Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI), a leading commercial real estate investment services firm with offices throughout the United States and Canada, has hired Michael R. LaBar as a vice president investments and Michael L. Shaffner as an associate vice president investments in the firm’s Las Vegas office, according to Todd Manning, regional manager of the office.
LaBar and Shaffner’s focus will be on the sale of multifamily investment properties in the Las Vegas market. “We are excited to add LaBar and Shaffner back to our Las Vegas team,” says Manning. “They experienced a great deal of success during their former tenure with Marcus & Millichap, and know how to leverage the firm’s collaborative culture and unique property marketing platform to achieve exceptional results,” adds Manning. “Their expertise, professionalism, and transactional experience will be a great benefit to our office and our clients.
Prior to rejoining Marcus & Millichap, LaBar and Shaffner were both vice presidents at a Canadian-based commercial real estate brokerage. Collectively, they have 30 years of investment property sales experience.
