Local real estate veteran Thomas Naseef has joined Colliers International as senior vice president of investment properties. Naseef last year launched a new firm, Distinct Real Estate Advisors, which specializes in distressed-asset management, consulting and property repositioning. The company had 15 properties totaling 2 million square feet of commercial space under management in 2010. Prior to that, Naseef was the local Coldwell Banker Commercial franchisee for 11 years. Dramatic market changes prompted him to exit the 104-year-old national network better known for home sales than commercial property deals.
