Capstone Companies has closed on the sale of property at 650 W. Colfax Ave., a 2.75 acre development site, located in Denver’s Golden Triangle.  Travis Hodge and Tony Bobay of the Capstone Colorado Land Team represented the buyer, Embrey Partners, LLC.

San Antonio-based Embrey Partners plans to demolish the existing buildings to make way for The Finch – a new seven-story, 370-unit luxury apartment community.

“We’re thrilled with the opportunity to work on this project,” said Jimmy McCloskey, Executive Vice President of Development for Embrey. “We appreciate all the hard work from Capstone and countless others.”

“We first introduced this site to Embrey over two years ago,” said Capstone broker Travis Hodge. “As Colorado’s  second largest multifamily developer over the past twenty years, we knew Embrey had the experience and resources needed to transform the site into a premier residential community.”

The property is located on W. Colfax Ave. across from the Colorado Convention Center. At the border of Denver’s CBD and Golden Triangle neighborhoods, the property sits within a true live-work-play environment, with quick and easy access to jobs, shops, restaurants, and entertainment.
