CBRE Brokers $40.75 Million Sale of Caliber at Cornerstar Apartment Complex in Aurora, Colo.

CBRE announced the $40.75 million sale of Caliber at Cornerstar, a 140-unit newly built apartment complex located in Aurora, Colorado, to Jupiter Equities.

CBRE’s David Potarf, Dan Woodward and Matthew Barnett represented the seller, The Garrett Companies, in the transaction.

“Caliber at Cornerstar was very popular with investors due to its quality construction, walkability to some of Denver’s best recreation and retail destinations, and short commute to the large employment base in the southeast business corridor,” said Potarf.

Located at 15930 E. Briarwood Circle, the property was completed in 2018 and offers a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom units across three buildings on nearly 4.6 acres. The four-story mid-rise property offers scenic mountain views and a full luxury amenity package including premium finishes, walk-in closets, full-size washers and dryers, granite or quartz countertops and nine-foot ceilings. The community is equipped with a state-of-the-art fitness center, attached or detached garages, clubhouse and a resort inspired pool.

The property is located directly east of the Denver Tech Center and is near Cherry Creek State Park and Park Meadows Mall, the state’s largest shopping center. The property also draws from an affluent base, with household incomes in the immediate area above $125,000.
