Denver – Nexus Commercial Realty, LLC, has closed on the sale of The Abbey at Westminster, a 16-unit multifamily property at 7120 Hooker Street for the sale price of $2,550,000.  Austin Smith and Sean Holamon of Nexus represented the Seller, 7120 Hooker LLC, Gunnar Wilson, Brandon Kaufman and Nik MacCarter represented the buyer, Claude and Tiffany Cismaru.

The Abbey at Westminster is an 11,888 square foot building that contains 16 multifamily units. There are a mix of 1- and 2-bedroom units, some of which have been renovated. The building has been very well maintained over the years and has a new roof and laundry facility.

7120 Hooker St. is conveniently located less than 1,000 feet from the Westminster Light Rail Station near the intersection of W 72nd and Hooker St. This transit-oriented location has allowed the owner to raise rents considerably since the Light Rail has been active.  

The buyer plans to continue renovating the units and creating a great community for the tenants. They plan to increase rents as they turn units.
